Call For Reviewer/Editor

The Journal of Islamic Economics and Business Perspectives (JIEBP)—a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Cordoba Banyuwangi is inviting applications for the positions of Reviewers and Editors. We seek dedicated scholars and professionals with a strong background in Islamic economics, Islamic finance, and Islamic business to help advance high-quality research in these fields.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Reviewers

·         Provide timely, constructive feedback on manuscripts.

·         Assess the quality, rigor, and originality of research.

·         Evaluate the relevance of submissions to Islamic economics and business.

·         Help maintain the journal’s academic standards.

2. Editors

·         Oversee content curation and manage the peer-review process.

·         Ensure that accepted articles align with the journal’s aims and scholarly standards.

·         Collaborate with authors to refine manuscripts for publication.

·         Contribute to strategic development of the journal.

Qualifications

1.      A minimum of a master’s degree in Islamic economics, finance, business, or related fields; PhD holders are preferred.

2.      A proven publication record demonstrating expertise in Islamic economics or business studies.

3.      Previous experience in peer review or editorial work is highly desirable.

4.      Proficiency in academic English, with strong writing and editing skills.
