Economic Empowerment of Silver Craftsmen Through the Bintang Silver Home Industry in Tempeh Lor Village, Tempeh District, Lumajang Regency

Abstract

Efforts to improve the standard of living of the community and meet the economic needs of the community are through empowerment, in empowerment must use the right empowerment pattern with the right form and provide opportunities for community groups to plan and implement the development programs they have determined. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation analysis. The results of this study show the economic empowerment of silver craftsmen through the Bintang Silver home industry through seven stages of empowerment, an increase in income felt by the empowered community. The obstacles faced by the Bintang Silver home industry are the search for raw materials Natural Resources and Human Resources.
